Prepping for and taking the licensing exams takes about 7 months for 7 exams if you’re conservative but systematic about it, taking a weekend off between exams. I know people who took time off and did it all within a few weeks. I also know people who struggled with one exam or two and were delayed by retakes, but that’s not a continuous effort. As of a few years ago, you can take your licensing exams while still in school, freeing you up to just work your hours later to complete the process.
